The Story
We went with a plan; To hike across the landscapes of France. I would be painting, Suzie would write. Two months and 400 miles we hiked to give you a written and visual account of "Baguettes and Backpacking" a journey from the Mediterranean Sea to the Pyrenees Mountains. There will be wine and bread, after all this is France.
Painting LIttle things in France
My journal is a stack of watercolor paper, pencil, two erasers, a small travel size watercolor paint set, and two brushes, one fat one skinny. My plan was to create as many paintings of France, Italy, and Spain as I could. The 40+ Illustrations in this book is the result. I stood where Van Gough stood and peered through his eyes.
